Executive Summary
This report provides a comprehensive evaluation of MECi Group’s partnership with The Venus Project (TVP), highlighting critical operational challenges and intellectual property (IP) governance issues; particularly TVP’s ongoing conflict with Mr. Yevhen Sliuzko, and his subsequent targeting of MECi Group, The Thorium Network and Mr. Jeremiah Josey. Mr. Sliuzko’s unauthorised actions have materially impacted the partnership. It outlines the efforts invested in formalising IP protections, the necessity of legal separation for operational stability, and the reputational risks generated by coordinated misinformation campaigns by Mr. Sliuzko. Despite these external pressures, MECi Group and related entities maintains robust operational integrity, professional management, and a clear strategic focus on innovative thorium-based energy and sustainability technologies.
Background and Strategic Partnership Intentions
MECi Group via The Thorium Network, entered into this strategic collaboration with the goal of advancing the visionary concepts of Jacque Fresco into tangible, scalable projects, leveraging The Thorium Network and MECi Group platforms. Initial engagement revealed significant operational fragmentation within TVP, including unresolved internal disputes, factionalism, and ineffective governance mechanisms that posed substantial risks to collaboration viability. A significant concern noted was unlicensed and uncontrolled usage of TVP intellectual property by Sliuzko leveraged for his own personal gain.
Intellectual Property Governance and Compliance
Recognising the critical importance of protecting Jacque Fresco’s intellectual property, MECi Group led the establishment of rigorous IP governance frameworks and formal licensing agreements. A formal, exclusive, royalty-free license was offered on 23 October 2023 to Mr. Yevhen Sliuzko for specific territorial rights contingent upon contractually binding acceptance. Mr. Sliuzko’s refusal to acknowledge or comply with this licensing regime has led to unauthorised exploitation of TVP resources and public dissemination of misleading narratives damaging to MECi Group’s reputation.
Conflict Dynamics and Legal Position
The discord with Mr. Sliuzko and TVP appears driven by long-standing personal grievances refracted through media channels, complicating resolution possibilities. His deliberate obfuscation of location – outright refusing to disclose his address for delivery of formal documents – and uncooperative stance have rendered traditional legal remedies partially ineffective. As a protective measure, MECi Group has issued Cease and Desist orders to delineate its operational and legal separation from TVP, ensuring mitigation of exposure to liabilities arising from TVP’s governance and financial shortcomings.
As anticipated, TVP’s response to these formal communications has been demonstrably limited. The limited responsiveness observed, lack of professional skill, adequate training, or financial wherewithal in managing intricate legal and IP matters appears to have rendered them largely ineffectual in both controlling their proprietary assets and addressing these critical breaches. This unfortunately confirms the absolute necessity of this proactive disengagement.
External Hostility and Social Media Influence
MECi Group faced organised opposition organised by Sliuzko and manifested in closed social media groups propagating misinformation and actively excluding voices seeking constructive dialogue or questioning the information that was being presented. This exclusionary practice illustrates that the group functions not as an open forum but as a weaponised platform designed to amplify hostility, distort public perception, and hinder potential engagement with stakeholders. Recognition of these orchestrated campaigns is vital to contextualise public sentiment and manage reputational risk effectively.
Personal Conflict and Its Impact on Collaboration
Mr. Yevhen Sliuzko’s reaction to the formalisation of intellectual property governance and his subsequent exclusion from official leadership and collaboration channels within TVP appears to extend beyond ideological differences. It reflects a significant personal grievance related to his previous informal role and standing within the TVP community.
This longstanding dissatisfaction, coupled with a history of exclusion from formal structures over the past decade, has contributed to Mr. Sliuzko initiating a persistent campaign of public criticism and unsubstantiated allegations against MECi Group and its management. Leveraging his online presence, he has disseminated information that challenges the legitimacy of MECi Group’s practices and governance.
MECi Group’s leadership, committed to professional standards and organisational accountability, has become the primary focus of Mr. Sliuzko’s public criticisms. This dynamic appears to be a redirection of his grievances from internal TVP disputes toward MECi Group as a tangible entity.
Furthermore, Mr. Sliuzko’s deliberate concealment of his exact location—with indications that he may be based in New Zealand—poses practical difficulties for legal enforcement and resolving defamatory actions. This situation complicates efforts to protect the intellectual property associated with Jacque Fresco’s legacy from unauthorised use.
Mr. Sliuzko’s approach reflects a preference for public confrontation and manipulation over constructive engagement, which has hindered resolution and progress.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Reputational Exposure: The ongoing, asymmetric slander campaign by Mr. Sliuzko presents a continuous, albeit manageable, reputational exposure. This necessitates unwavering vigilance and the proactive articulation of a clear, factually robust counter-narrative.
- Legal Complexities: The inherently international nature of these disputes, coupled with Mr. Sliuzko’s deliberate concealment, significantly complicates direct legal enforcement against him. Our strategic focus is therefore on meticulously securing our legal position vis-à-vis TVP and diligently pursuing proactive reputation management including separation from TVP management.
- Organisational Stability: Crucially, our core entities remain robust, professionally managed, and strategically resilient. These external distractions, whilst vexatious, do not impede our fundamental business objectives or the systematic delivery of our projects.
Forward Strategy and Commitment
MECi Group affirms its dedication to:
- Strict adherence to IP and legal compliance standards.
- Transparent, fact-based communication to stakeholders and investors.
- Advancement of innovative thorium nuclear energy and sustainable technology projects.
- Proactive monitoring and management of misinformation, without engaging in retaliatory rhetoric.
MECi Group remains open to detailed discussion and provision of supporting documentation for qualified investors and partners under appropriate confidentiality protocols.
This comprehensive overview is designed to provide you, as a discerning potential investor and partner, with a complete and unvarnished understanding of the complex landscape. We are ready to discuss any aspect of this report in greater detail and provide further corroborating evidence as required.
